Frequently Asked Questions
How much does private school tuition cost in Hong Kong?
The tuition fees for private schools vary depending on the type of school, the curriculum, the location, and the facilities. Our current annual tuition fees for Years 1 to 5 stand at HK $188,000 per annum, with an additional annual capital levy of HK $35,000. For Years 6 to 8, the HK primary school fees increase to HK $198,000, with the same annual capital levy.
What are the other costs associated with private school costs?
Our fees cover books, teaching, and art materials, while class trips, school bus fees, and extra-curricular activities are excluded. As the school does not receive subsidies from the Government, the capital levies fund infrastructure, building, facilities, and maintenance.
How can parents compare different Hong Kong private schools in terms of costs and quality?
One way to compare different private schools is to use online platforms or directories that provide information and reviews on various schools in Hong Kong. For example, Top Schools HK, International Schools Database, and Good Schools Guide are some of the websites that parents can use to compare and contrast different private schools based on their fees, curriculum, accreditation, facilities, reputation, and student outcomes.
