Our students achieve complete fluency in English and engage with a Hong Kong British school curriculum built around the core components of the internationally acclaimed National Curriculum for England and Wales. Simultaneously, we guarantee that our pupils have a solid foundation in Chinese language and culture through our outstanding Chinese curriculum within the Hong Kong international curriculum framework.
In every year group, Chinese is taught as a distinct subject, with an equal number of lessons allocated to Chinese, English, and Maths each week. Putonghua serves as the medium of instruction for all Chinese lessons, and our pupils primarily learn to read and write simplified characters. They also gain exposure to traditional characters through calligraphy lessons, voluntary supplementary reading sessions, and various extracurricular activities.
