Yes, our Intensive English (IE) Programme is designed for students with strong academic potential but limited English proficiency. The programme tailors learning to each child’s abilities, integrating the British and Cambridge Global English curriculum. Through small classes and individual support, students develop foundational language skills (reading, writing, listening, speaking) to prepare them for success in an English-medium environment.

The duration of the IE Programme is flexible and personalised. Most students transition to mainstream classes after a minimum of 2 terms, but progress depends on individual readiness.

The IE Programme is available for students in Years 3 to 8. Pupils in Years 7 and 8 undergo additional assessments via Cambridge Global English evaluations to ensure a smooth transition.

While we don’t offer an IE Programme in the Senior School, we collaborate closely with BE Education to provide on-site, one-to-one tutoring after school hours.
